- Also if anyone has a UK or US copy of Final Fantasy 2 for the SNES I wouldn't mind buying that either for a reasonable price. E-mail here
Favourite Games and Systems
I have used a number of computer and consoles over the years including an Amstrad CPC, NES, SNES, Megadrive, Playstation, N64 and PC. I must say the PC is the best of the lot by far but I still love my SNES as it had some great games on it. Here are some of my favourites over the years
- Bubble Bobble (CPC, Arcade) - First played it on the CPC then on the arcade and it is a really good game filled with secrets and great power-ups that make it fun to play.
- Micro Machines (NES) - The original version may well be the best with great gameplay that made up for the lack of graphics. Great action and excitment.
- Mario Series (NES, SNES) - Works of art from Nintendo, these games are just full of secrets and the gameplay is more or less perfect. Although I wouldn't play them now they lasted for months when I first played them. The best in the series? Mario World or Yoshi's Island.
- Secret Of Mana (SNES) - The first RPG I got into this has the Squaresoft magic written all over it. The depth of the game is astounding and the size of the task is astounding. 60 hours on first attempt. The sequel was never translated which is a real shame.
- Final Fantasy 3 (SNES) - Probably my favourite game ever. Squaresoft again with a turn based RPG which has a storyline that could of been written in a novel. And it lasts for a long time. So many characters to interact with. Amazing.
- Championship Manager 2 (PC) - Would be 3 but I haven't played that for long enough yet, but I know I was still playing this when the third one came out. The realism of the game is its best point and that's why it kept me playing. Maybe too easy but still the ultimate footy management game.
That's all for now but feel free to e-mail me about either one of my pages or send me your favourite games lists. I would be intrested to know.
